Using match data is the best way to discover how you should use your practice time. We recommend filming five or ten matches to collect a large enough sample size of data, then analyzing the data to find which areas need improvement.
Here are some examples of stats players have found to improve their game faster.
- You make too many forehand return errors from the deuce court.
- 75% or more of your doubles faults are missed in the same spot (net or long).
- You like to serve out wide in the deuce court, but you win a higher percentage of points when you serve down the T.
This is the best way to find out how and why you win or lose matches.
