Stat of the Week: 60%
At the ATP Finals last week, Alexander Zverev faced the world’s top players, including Novak Djokovic and Daniil Medvedev… and he dominated, especially on serve.
- On first serve he won a remarkable 76% of points.
- He backed up by winning an astounding 60% of points on second serve!
Here are his first serve numbers by location for all 5 ATP Finals matches.

Point of the Week
On first serve, Zverev’s favorite target was to his right-handed opponent’s forehand.
Zverev hit very few serves to the returner’s body. This is a pattern of top players in the world – they tend to serve to the edges of the service box, opening up the court and creating opportunities to control the point early on.
